    I don't think that his is a lupine, they don't grow this tall and the flowers don't match. Perhaps a Delphinium sp. Posted 2 years ago

      Agree...It's so hard to determine the exact species. Maybe it's a specific cultivar or hybrid. It looks a lot like Delphinium cultorum, but the range seems very limited in Colorado:
