  1. Amazing water hole with wild life galore, a pleasant place to spend an afternoon with a camera. Posted 11 years ago
    1. Do you know what species of wallaby or maybe kangaroo this is? If not we could identify it as Australian White Ibis
(Threskiornis molucca) - I guess that's what it is in the background?

    2. I know they were wallabies, I will try to find out what species they were. I will do some research on them. Posted 11 years ago
      1. Yes the birds are Ibis. Posted 11 years ago
      2. I have identified the photo with the ibis ID, because I don't like photos staying in the unidentified list for too long. If you find out what species the wallabies are, please feel free to change it.

By the way, are your photos taken in one particular area or in different parts of the country?
There is a function for geotagging the photos which is also appreciated. It is accessible from the <Geotag this photo> icon below the species ID. It opens a Google map with a big white marker. You can either search for a specific location or just drag it to the location where you took the photo and click on Save to confirm.

        1. Sorry for the late reply, No, we head North for the winter & Spend about 5 months in the amazing Australian Outback, my hubby reads & I love nothing better than sitting near a waterhole & taking pictures of the wildlife. Posted 11 years ago
  2. omg look at all those kangaroos, never seen so many.

By the way, I have a small tip: When you click the "Edit details" button below the photo, you can edit the title and description of the photo. Right now it seems like you are using the comments to provide a description. It's no big deal, just a suggestion.
