  1. The species might be incorrect for this one, but I'm not at all sure. It doesn't seem to match Jamides alecto exactly, but there does seem to be some variation (maybe with subspecies or seasonal variations). I'm leaving the ID as is, but just wanted to comment that the species might be wrong. Posted 2 years ago

"Jamides alecto", the metallic cerulean, is a small butterfly found in the Indomalayan realm but which crosses the Wallace line into the Australasian realm. It belongs to the lycaenids or blues family.
