      1. Arizona is home to many hummingbird species and I always have a pair to two in my backyard. I should take more pictures of them. It's just so hot outside. It has been almost of month of continuous high temperature of 110 F or more. Even at midnight it is still 100F. Posted 2 years ago

The sparkling violetear is a species of hummingbird. It is widespread in highlands of northern and western South America, including a large part of the Andes, the Venezuelan Coastal Range and the Tepuis.
