"Suaeda aegyptiaca" is a species of succulent plant in the family Amaranthaceae, and salt-tolerant plant that is distributed in eastern North Africa, the Near East and West Asia. Local vernacular names for this plant in Qatar are "juliman", "guluman", "ikhreet" or "hamd".
