Anja Half-padded Gecko (Paragehyra felicitae) on some matching granite I was last in Madagascar in 2007, and I visited Anja Reserve at that time, but only during the day. In the meantime this gecko was described in 2014, and on a return visit to Anja Reserve I really wanted to find one. We found this one within ten minutes of reaching the granite outcroppings that are the heart of this reserve, and then at least half a dozen more after that. I guess scientists hadn't been visiting at night much before 2014. Fall,Geotagged,Madagascar,Paragehyra felicitae Click/tap to enlarge Species introCountry intro
