The Virgin's Mantle

"Fagonia cretica" is a species of plant in the Zygophyllaceae, the Caltrop family, specifically the "fagonbushes". It is found in Alicante province, Spain, the Balearic Islands, Crete, Malta, Cyprus and North Africa, from Morocco to Egypt.
