    1. They have a "potato chip" call, which is really cute.

        1. The bird sounds like it is saying " po-ta-to-chip". They clearly have a snacking problem if they are begging for chips. Probably high cholesterol too. Posted 2 years ago

The American goldfinch, also known as the eastern goldfinch or "lightning bird," is a small North American bird in the finch family. It is migratory, ranging from mid-Alberta to North Carolina during the breeding season, and from just south of the Canadian border to Mexico during the winter.
