The rule in the bird kingdom usually is, if the species does not have beautiful feathers and coloration it often has a beautiful song or other capabilities such as building stunning bowers....etc. This species has an amazing melodious song which compensate for not having beautiful feathers or colors.

The brown oriole is a species of bird in the family Oriolidae. It is found in New Guinea. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests, subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, and subtropical or tropical mangrove forests.
