Fumana scoparia is a sub-shrub in the Cistaceae family. It has semiterete and unveined leaves, sparsely hairy and deciduous, alternating in a whorl pattern and looking like a rosette from above, and by the thick and smooth green sterile branches, bearing small scars from their fallen leaves. Flowers 25-30 mm in diameter, petals bright yellow.
