Episyrphus balteatus, sometimes called the marmalade hoverfly
This rather tiny lil‘ fly was so kind this morning as to pose right in front of me while I had some coffee on my lil‘ loggia. It stayed for two minutes and I didn‘t have to get up to make a couple of shots. Thanks!

"Episyrphus balteatus", sometimes called the marmalade hoverfly, is a relatively small hoverfly of the Syrphidae family, widespread throughout the Palaearctic region, which covers Europe, North Asia, and North Africa.
