Giant Water Bug These not-so-little water bugs, as their name suggests, live between aquatic and terrestrial environments. They often hunt for small insects and even fish in the water, but can be seen flying around lights at night, giving them the nickname "electric light bug". They are also commonly called "toe biters" because they can deliver a very painful bite when provoked.
