
Bombus hortorum, the garden bumblebee or small garden bumblebee
Here you can clearly see the elongated head and long tongue, one of the distinguishing features to its bigger sister, the buff tailed bumblebee. A very diligent worker, trying to bring as much pollen back to the nest as possible.

"Bombus hortorum" is a species of bumblebee. It bears the common name Garden bumblebee, and can be found in most of Europe up to 70ºN, as well as parts of Asia and New Zealand.
