Burnsius orcus Burnsius orcus is not easy to distinguish from B. oileus, specially for the non specialist like myself. My identification here is based on technical literature from the Internet and the theoretical distribution of both species (i.e. B. oileus, according to some sources, does not occur in Venezuela), whereas B. orcus does, and specially so on the area where I took this picture (Northern Venezuelan Coastal Range) Burnsius oileus,Burnsius orcus,Geotagged,Orcus Checkered-Skipper,Spring,Tropical checkered skipper,Venezuela Click/tap to enlarge Country intro
