    1. It must have been enjoying the damp ground. It was very still and cooperative - let me get right up close and use the macro lens. I almost passed it by.. but it stayed so still. Fritillaries are super common and most are the same two or three species I see all of the time, but this one turned out to be a one I’d never seen. Posted 2 years ago, modified 2 years ago
