    1. Thanks, Alexander. For a hummingbird, it's relatively plain looking, but it's fairly rare. Only occurs in small parts of the Andes at high elevations only. Posted 2 years ago

The black-thighed puffleg is a species of hummingbird in the "brilliants", tribe Heliantheini in subfamily Lesbiinae. It is found in Colombia and Ecuador.
