Buffy helmetcrest - closeup, Termales del Ruiz, Colombia

Where the day before we only got a remote glimpse of this #1 target bird of the area, on this second day we were lucky to find one settled and calm. It seemed to be dozing in the sun, mildly aware of us, but tolerating our slow approach to get closer.
