  1. Hi, how sure are you about the ID? Because all sources I could find cite this species as occurring in Europe, not in the US. Posted 2 years ago
    1. I'm not actually. I tried to compare it to similar pictures and use Google lens. If you have any information on this particular moth, please advise. I do come across invasive species. That could be a possibility too. Posted 2 years ago
      1. Unfortunately I'm not so good with moths myself. I had a bit of a look on inaturalist (https://www.inaturalist.org/observations?place_id=14&subview=map&taxon_id=48670&view=species) and Viridiseptis marina seems like a pretty good match?
        Perhaps Christine or some of the other US-based members will be able to weigh in as well.
