Grallaria quitensis, Termales del Ruiz, Colombia This is Huppel (dutch for "hop"), a nickname we gave to this temporary friend. It is found around a dark corner of the botanical gardens of the Termales del Ruiz. It is relatively approachable and was often curious about us as we were birding around the area. It's pretty much opposite in behavior compared to the typical antpitta.
