Buffy helmetcrest, Termales del Ruiz, Colombia A mood shot of the main target bird of the area, the Buffy helmetcrest. This is as close as we got on our first try. The next morning we found one sleeping and were able to approach much closer. This one was found some 7km outside of our main stay (Termales del Ruiz) at about 4,000m altitude.
