Believe it or not, found this specimen not in the wild, but on the floor of the supermarket ...o.O...
Probably from trunks or fire wood, that puzzled me off. I only knew this species from tree barks in july, and august.

Temnoscheila caerulea is a species of bark-gnawing beetles in the family Trogossitidae, historically often misspelled as "Temnochila". There are about 19 described species in Temnoscheila.
