Equatorial antpitta, Hacienda El Bosque, Colombia
This is one of two antpitta species that can potentially be seen at Hacienda El Bosque. The birds are trained to appear by making an attractive setting, a daily juicy worm, and the familiar sounds of an antpitta whisperer. This one took about an hour of luring to make a brief appearance.
The other species is the crescent-faced antpitta, which we did not see and had not appeared for weeks. @DR_M_Z did manage to capture it at this site:

The Equatorial antpitta is a species of bird in the family, Grallariidae. It is a member of the rufous antpitta species complex and in 2020, was found to be a species and not just a subspecies. It is found is southern Colombia, Ecuador, and northern Peru.
