The Broad-leaved Anemone

Anemone hortensis is a perennial herbaceous flowering plant with an underground rhizome, in buttercup family Ranunculaceae. The genus name comes from the Greek ἄνεμος, as an ancient legend tells that the flowers open only when the wind blows.
