
Squirrel Corn - Dicentra canadensis
I've never seen them bloom brown before. They are usually white, often with a pinkish tint. These blooms aren't even old. They just bloomed. Maybe the color is due to the dryness because I think Dicentra canadensis is quite sensitive to moisture fluctuations.
Habitat: Mixed forest

"Dicentra canadensis", the squirrel corn, is a flowering plant from eastern North America with oddly shaped white flowers and finely divided leaves.
