  1. I'm not sure about your species ID. Is this a cultivated plant? P. pilosa is a North American species. Phlox subulata is a species found in S. Korea, though.

      Subulata seems much more likely, so I've set the ID to that for now. Thanks for checking!

      @hhpaick: please always do a distribution check before identifying the species, this saves everybody a lot of needless work. A visual comparison is not enough, the distribution must also be realistic. On sites like GBIF and iNaturalist you can check where species occur.

"Phlox subulata" is a species of flowering plant in the family Polemoniaceae, native to eastern and central USA, and widely cultivated. The Latin specific epithet "subulata" means awl- or needle-shaped. The odor given off by the plants is mistaken for that of marijuana.
