White visitor
This mute swan came to our garden pond today. The Ljubljanica river runs only 20m away from our house and a couple of them are nesting somewhere nearby. The river is busy with rowers (there is a rowing club across the river) and the male is chasing rowers all the time. He is quite aggressive, he even chased me and tried to bite me on a paddle board :)
I took this photo from our kitchen - we have large sliding window that I opened and snapped this shot with my 100-400mm lens.

The mute swan is a species of swan and a member of the waterfowl family Anatidae. It is native to much of Europe and Asia, and the far north of Africa. It is an introduced species in North America, Australasia and southern Africa.
