  2. I agree with the ID for this one, but compare to the other moths we've IDed as this species on JD. They are different, especially the AM lines. I think the following might be Eusarca sp., possibly Eusarca crameraria:

Eusarca crameraria Dapa, Valle del Cauca 2100m Eusarca crameraria

I think the 1st one was IDed incorrectly and then we just kept copying off the ID for that initial mistake.

    Eusarca crameraria:

BUT, one of these seemingly incorrectly IDed individuals is IDed as O. augusta here:

Neither of those IDs are confirmed, though. What do you think?

    1. I think your analysis is razor sharp, thanks so much!
I've corrected the "copied" mistake for the above observations.

Yep, I think the leps and iNat links are likely on the basis of self-ID, just like over here, so it can at times go wrong.

      1. Too bad I wasn't razor sharp when I misidentified all those moths, lol. Posted 2 years ago
        1. You were sharp to remember the initial one each time, which unfortunately was incorrect lol. Posted 2 years ago
          1. Haha, exactly. More awesome 'Ferdy logic'. Posted 2 years ago
