The great rufous woodcreeper is a species of bird in the Dendrocolaptinae subfamily, the woodcreepers. It is found in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, and Paraguay. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests and subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.
