    It was very obliging sitting on a bridge near punda maria, kruger national park, South Africa. This one let us get quite close, within 3 metres before letting us know it was not too happy. Saw them quite regularly on bridges. Posted 11 years ago

The Giant Kingfisher

The Giant Kingfisher is the largest kingfisher in Africa, where it is a resident breeding bird over most of the continent south of the Sahara Desert other than the arid southwest.
