Zygaena rhadamanthus The family of Zygaenidae ranks among my favourites in the world of butterflies and moths, probably because they are most often found in warm, sunny locations where flowers in full bloom abound. And it is quite common to find one sitting on a purple flower of some kind. This one was one exception.
