      1. Grow a bit faster than that - we have a Travelling Palm currently in the house, our son bought it as a Strelitzia, it grew out of his house (it is in the strelitzia family but....it's currently in our hallway - Over 4 metres tall and throwing up another leaf - The last leaf it grew is just under 2 metres long by 60 cms wide.

        1. @David, that's amazing!! My tallest houseplant is only 0.8 m tall, lol. It's a fiddle-leaf fig (Ficus lyrata) and can grow to 3 meters tall indoors.

          @Ferdy, it would definitely need to be CGI, lol.

Socratea exorrhiza is a palm native to rainforests in tropical Central and South America. It can grow to 25 metres in height, with a stem diameter of up to 16 cm, but is more typically 15–20 m tall and 12 cm in diameter.
