  Thanks a lot, Ferdy! I took this picture quite by accident. Walking with my wife in the park, I suddenly saw this magpie descending towards a small puddle and started taking pictures. Maybe that's exactly how some of the best shots happen. Posted 2 years ago

The Eurasian magpie

The Eurasian magpie is a resident breeding bird throughout Europe, much of Asia and northwest Africa. It is one of several birds in the crow family named as magpies, and belongs to the Holarctic radiation of "monochrome" magpies.
