Ichneumon Wasp 'Heinrichiella obscura' (formerly Hellwigia obscura)

I posted details of this wasp back in September 2022, once it had been confirmed my sightings in both August and September of that year represented the first UK records of both the Genus and the species.

Yesterday, during a long and ongoing 'tidying up' of files on my PC, I discovered I'd both photographed and filmed the species as early as 9th June in the same location.

The photos were clearer and the video quite brief, but having seen various individuals in the same field over a three month period, strongly suggests the possibility of a resident population.
