  1. An old friend that I used to see at antswarms all the time in Mexico, for some reason much scarcer in Peru. It was nice to see a bunch of them (at ant swarms once again) in Colombia! Posted 2 years ago

The grey-headed tanager is a species of bird in the family Thraupidae, the only one in the genus "Eucometis". It is found in Belize, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guatemala, Guyana, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, and Venezuela.
