Just as the brief description on Wikipedia says, this butterfly lingers in “warm, lush meadows with plenty of its host plant, vetch”. The small habitat of Kaiserstuhl in South-Western Germany fulfils that description perfectly.
The Green-Underside Blue (Glaucopsyche alexis) is a butterfly of the Lycaenidae family. It is found in Europe. The butterfly flies from April to July depending on the location, on warm lush meadows with plenty of hostplant (Vicia).
