
The wolf is a large canine native to Eurasia and North America. The wolf is the largest extant member of the family Canidae, and is further distinguished from other Canis species by its less pointed ears and muzzle, as well as a shorter torso and a longer tail.

But seriously: I'm very happy that they are coming back to the north and middle of Germany to live here the way they used to - and maybe I'll be granted the opportunity to meet a wild wolf one day around here, that's what I'm dreaming of. And that is why I take any chance to advertise the wolf's natural shyness: No-one of us will ever be done any harm by a wolf unless we force him to defend himself or his pack! Posted 13 years ago
