    1. Thanks for the comment and like. Yes the out of focus was caused by two things. I wasn't using a flash and my shutter speed was only at 1/2500. I need to boost the speed up to about 1/4000 to freeze the shot. This guy lives in my back yard and it comes to take a sip about every 10 minutes so I need a bit of patience. Posted one month ago

The ruby-throated hummingbird is a species of hummingbird. As with all hummingbirds, this species belongs to the family Trochilidae and is currently included in the order Apodiformes. This small animal is the only species of hummingbird that regularly nests east of the Mississippi River in North America.
