  1. A tricky bird, judging by the paucity of good photos that exist of it, but I got really lucky that day, with three individuals that showed really well!
    And that's JD's first Philydor foliage-gleaner! (it was my first as well)

The cinnamon-rumped foliage-gleaner is a species of bird in the family Furnariidae. It is found in Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Peru, Suriname, and Venezuela. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest and subtropical or tropical swampland.
