    1. Thanks Ludo. I agree it is good courtesy to explain a promotion but I don't think it is crucial.

      This one is easily explained though: it's a self-promotion. Would feel kind of awkward complimenting myself :) For reference, the self promotion policy:

      "Self promotion: Put aside your shame, there is nothing wrong with promoting your own photos. Particularly on slow days, feel free to promote your own photos, even multiple ones. On busy days, self promotions are still OK, yet use the guidelines as described above on your own images."

The African fish eagle or – to distinguish it from the true fish eagles, the African sea eagle – is a large species of eagle that is found throughout sub-Saharan Africa wherever large bodies of open water occur that have an abundant food supply.
