  1. A warm welcome to JungleDragon, Nil!

Impressive how you intuitively know how make a good post with metadata included. Not to mention the absolute unique images and species, quite incredible. I take it you study this for a living? It's OK if you don't want to share.

  2. Thank you Ferdy !

Indeed I am a medical entomologist interested in the taxonomy of medical important arthropods. Mainly mosquitoes and sandflies. I work in a French public research institute. And I try to combine work and photographic amateurish.

    1. I'm a medical eentomologist as well, but no longer work in that field. I'm really enjoying your photos! Posted 2 years ago
      1. Ha ! Great ! What are you working on ? Posted 2 years ago
        1. When working as an entomologist, I managed an insectary for New York State Department of Health and did research on WNV, EEE, and Lyme. But, my grant funding ran out and so I switched over to working in biochemistry, studying DNA repair proteins. Currently, I'm homeschooling my kids and am not working outside the home. I miss entomology research, though! Posted 2 years ago
  3. Nice ! You must have had fun and now homeschooling, that must be something ! Wow ! Posted 2 years ago
