  1. Impressive how you managed to get a stable shot when touchy you comes across a touch-me-not species. You must have been trembling. Posted 2 years ago
    1. Photo first, touch second. I ALWAYS touch these. It's a compulsion because the seed pods do this:

You don't even have to pluck them off the plant to get them to pop. Just a gentle touch or brush up against the plant makes them burst.

        1. Thanks. I recommend touching a touch-me-not if you ever come across one. Posted 2 years ago
          1. We've come across it multiple times, especially those that close their leafs when you touch them. It's great fun. Posted 2 years ago
            1. I've considered getting a Mimosa (sensitive plant), like you mention, as a houseplant. But, fear it would die on purpose just to escape my constant touching. Posted 2 years ago
              1. Hehe, I think it recovers in minutes? Posted 2 years ago
                1. Yes, of course. But, now you've ruined my joke...I was joking that all of my touching would lead the plant to die on purpose just to escape me. <Insert your laughter here> Posted 2 years ago
                  1. Didn't realize it was a joke ;) Posted 2 years ago
                    1. Gasp! Don't you know by now, 75%-ish of what I say is a joke. ;P Posted 2 years ago, modified 2 years ago
