  1. William, Schizostacyum brachycladum is listed as occurring in Asia, from the few observations I could find. It would still be possible that it's cultivated on Hawaii? Posted 2 months ago
    1. Was professionally labeled with this scientific name in an arboretum called Garden of Eden Arboretum on the island of Maui in Hawaii. It is native to Southeast Asia as an ornamental. The green culms are used in China as cooking vessels for rice. Posted 2 months ago
