The claret-breasted fruit dove is a species of bird in the family Columbidae. It is found in the Moluccas, New Guinea and the Solomon Islands archipelago. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.

I have a question. There is a misidentified species`picture I want to inform about. It is the one for the Yellow-streaked Lory. The birds in the photo are Rainbow Lorikeets. How can this be fixed? Posted 2 years ago
1) In the species box of the photo, click the red X button. This deletes the identification, but not the photo itself.
2) Re-identify the species with the correct species ID from the same species box.
3) As a courtesy, it's good practice to post a comment explaining why the old ID was incorrect and why the new one is correct.
4) Sometimes there's some additional cleaning up to do. For example, the title, description and tags may still contain references to the old ID.
