    1. No...There are about 100 species of milkweed in the US and I don't think there are any that are considered invasive. A few are actually listed as endangered/protected species. Although, common milkweed can spread easily and be "weedy". Posted 2 years ago

"Rhyssomatus lineaticollis" is a species of weevil whose adults feed on the stems of the common milkweed, "Asclepias syriaca". It is also destructive to the rare and threatened milkweed species "Asclepias meadii".
