  1. The joys of the naturalist community: I was with some other birders photographing hummingbirds and suddenly spotted this little fellow on another guy's tripod, so I asked him to stand still for a minute so that I could get a shot of the butterfly.
    I put it up on iNat and an expert found the ID, revealing that this is the first live photo of this poorly-known species!
