Rhinella horribilis, San Cipriano Reserve, Colombia
Found at night in San Cipriano near a small stream. This species is huge, about the size of a human hand, and seems oblivious to being discovered.
Taxonomy note: These days, Rhinella horribilis is considered a separate species from Rhinella marina. It's quite possible that in our set of Rhinella marina photos, some (in hindsight) are Rhinella horribilis.

"Rhinella horribilis" is the scientific name used for populations of the cane toad or giant toad located in Mesoamerica and north-western South America when they are considered to be a separate species from "Rhinella marina", a name which is then mostly restricted to Amazon basin populations.
