    1. Hah, such accusation isn't far-fetched when you consider that the typical wildlife documentary would absolutely film such scenes in a terrarium, not in the wild.

      In this cased we paid for the privilege of the real thing with lots of suffering. Worth it though.

        1. Yep, it's a common practice. Another highly common method of deception is filming two completely separate scenes (say a male and a female bird) and then later stitching this into a story using cut scenes, as if it was a singular event. Posted 2 years ago

The harlequin poison frog, also known as harlequin poison-dart frog, is a species of poison dart frog endemic to the El Chocó region of western Colombia. The frog is normally found on the ground of tropical rain forests, among fallen limbs or leaf litter.
