  1. Wonder if it is to do with the flowering period. A lot of these lilies can be stimulated by rain and can flower from spring, through summer and in to autumn. But why pick autumn and not spring or summer?! Posted one month ago

    I checked and found this bit about the name of the lily- The name "Yellow autumn-lily" refers to the plant's yellow flowers and its flowering period, which extends from late spring to autumn. The term "lily" is commonly used for various flowering plants, even though it is not a true lily.
