Imeri Warbling-Antbird

The Imeri Warbling-Antbird is very similar to the Peruvian Warbling-Antbird, but I found this one much more difficult to photograph.

      I do have Yellow-browed near Mitú, but I couldn't find my photo the other day. It's probably more of an ID shot than anything I'm happy with. Posted 2 years ago

          I don't really have enough data to know how much more difficult they are. I've seen each species six times, and I just know that I had a lot of trouble getting photos of Imeris and it was very easy to get Peruvians.

          But I also found Mitú to be more challenging, in general. The birds just seemed very skittish. I spent a few hours trying to get a picture of a White-plumed in a nice, big antswarm and the bird would vanish at even the slightest movement.           Posted 2 years ago

            Hmm good to know about Mitú. As for White-plumed, that's been my experience every time I've encountered them in Peru. Posted 2 years ago

The Imeri warbling antbird

The Imeri warbling antbird is a species of bird in the family Thamnophilidae. It is found at lower levels in humid forest in southern Venezuela, south-eastern Colombia and north-western Brazil.
