"Chlorophyllum molybdites" is a widespread mushroom. Poisonous and producing severe gastrointestinal symptoms of vomiting and diarrhea, it is commonly confused with the shaggy parasol or shaggy mane, and is the most commonly misidentified poisonous mushroom in North America.
